Patricia Anderson and Erin Blakeley discuss the growth of manufacturing jobs in our region, and how Central Carolina Community College is partnering with current companies and incoming companies to train workers for thousands of new jobs coming to the region.

They also mention the new E. Eugene Moore Manufacturing and Biotech Solutions Center in Sanford–and, an event happening there on Friday, October 6, 2023 from 9am-2pm as part of a celebration of National Manufacturing Day.

Industry leaders from Harnett, Lee, and Chatham Counties are invited to participate in Manufacturing Day to show off their products and share career opportunities within their companies.

Students in middle school, high school, and college are also invited to come to the event to see all of the company exhibits and learn how CCCC can help them prepare for careers with these companies.
